TexStyle waxed hockey skate laces have been specially treated by a proprietary lace waxing process that all but eliminates the lace stretch otherwise present in unwaxed laces. By lacing up the skate laces, you are able to customize the fit and feel of your skate boot. Waxed laces grip your skate boot eyelets, so the tension can be adjusted on one pair of eyelets at a time. As you proceed to lace up eyelet sets toward the ankle, the tension established in the lower sets of eyelets will remain as you originally set it thanks to the wax.
