About us

There is only ONE Momma Trucker Skates! We do not sell though any other websites. We are based in Exeter in Devon, in the UK & are a family run & skater/roller derby owned business. 

Momma Trucker's is owned & run by myself - Kate Garrard/ViolenTina Rossii, skater with Exeter Roller Derby, mum of three & avid sparkly hot pants wearer.

For the moment we are operating online only.

 As well as selling online through the website, we travel locally with our trusty van crammed full of stock to sell at bouts. 

Momma Trucker's is a family run business, although Nanna Rossii has recovered from the mutant radioactive cat bite, she usually can be found most days either at the shop helping out & offering food & drinks (to customers too!) or track side with the stall cheering & shouting with the best of them. In the few years we have been open her skate & roller derby products knowledge has grown exponentially & would rival many younger skaters! We occasionally have my pint sized helpers on hand, who love to be a part of it. 

Starting with a pair of very retro plastic Fisher price skates, I have skated since I was very small, growing up as a self taught skater with no one else nearby to pass on their skate knowledge it took joining a local roller derby team in 2012 to really get the hang of a lot of skills. As well as park & ramp skating, playing roller derby, coaching Exeter Roller Derby adults & junior teams, teaching new skaters, being a support coach to Team GB Junior Roller Derby national team & general arsing about on skates, I also run juniors ‘learn to skate’ classes a week..

What makes Momma's Unique from other skate shops is our range of pre loved roller skates, they are fully serviced & fixed up where needed, we also offer skate MOT's & restorations & also will custom design onto skates. Please contact for an up to date list of the sizes & styles in store.
